Having made waves resurfacing with their short film The Island, Ladytron return to Liverpool for a live show.

It’s been seven long years since we’ve had any new music from the electronic collective known as Ladytron,  but now with the help of Pledge Music we teeter on the brink of a full length studio album, tasters of which surfaced in the form of The Animals and more recently The Island and its accompanying short film that you can watch below.

The group, who formed in Liverpool just a touch before the Millennium, have quite rightly chosen their home and powerhouse promoter Evol to host one of just three live dates for 2018 and with a 20-ish year history in tow plus a significant hiatus to break, this could have that gig of the year feeling written all over it for more than a few of you.

Recently, former Scissor Sisters man Jake Shears declared Ladytron his favourite Liverpool band during his show at the Arts Club in August.

They’ll be joined by Stealing Sheep and Haarm.

Tickets are already flying and we don’t predict they’ll survive long so crack on and click the link.

Ladytron play Liverpool’s O2 Academy on Saturday 3rd November 2018.
