The unique showcase that is Liverpool’s Secret Circus returns for two new events of unpredictable performance art.

You never know what’s going to come out of it” the Secret Circus team explain as they compare their events to whacking a piñata.

They’re not wrong. Throughout their travels that have seen them perform over 15 sell out shows as well as run stages at Threshold Festival, Trafalgar Square, Los Angeles and appearances at the Edinburgh Fringe they’ve shown that you never can be too sure what to expect from an evening with them – and now they’re back in Liverpool with two new exciting evenings of entertainment.

The Secret Circus is a melting pot of anything and everything. Encompassing live music, magic, side shows, poetry, dance, drag and so much more. Sexy lobster? Check. Randy Nana? Covered. Belly dance conga line? You bet. Rocky Horror karaoke? Naturally. Some say the Secret Circus have done it all. Now we’re not sure they’ve done it all yet, but if there’s a group of people who ever will, our money’s on them.

The first of their two new events is advertised as a taster evening, taking place on October 27th at the Vault and is followed by a Down the Rabbit Hole themed return to their favourite haunt of Studio 2 on November 3rd.

The ensemble includes two globally renowned burlesque performers in Diva Hollywood and Velma Von Bon Bon alongside international acts featuring Australia’s Little Peaches and the USA’s Chanel & the Circus.

Putting the Liverpool into Liverpool’s Secret Circus are pirate duo and Glastonbury regulars Jollyboat and legendary improv group (and Planet Slop favourites) Impropriety.

Away from their on-stage antics the Secret Circus also host events for various LGBT charities, and for an EDS charity in honour of their friend and latest addition to the team, Little Peaches.

If you’d like to try the Secret Circus on for size, head down to their events on October 27th at the Vault, or November 3rd at Studio 2, tickets are on sale now from here.
