Hot on the heels of Fire, LUNA releases the next single from her upcoming EP.

Electro-pop artist and producer LUNA releases her brand new single 5am today – scroll down to listen.

The song is a dark-pop ballad that details a broken relationship, but interestingly LUNA appears to lay more of the blame on herself. There is a feeling of guilt that runs through the lyric – a refreshingly honest account of the complex emotions that surround both parties of a broken relationship – which culminates in the refrain “I just don’t recognise myself anymore”.

Musically, 5am begins as a stark ballad, but eventually builds to include the kind of electronic overtones one would expect from her, crucially communicating the confusion of the lyric without losing the overall soul.

Following her previous single Fire, this track is the second record off her upcoming debut EP planned for spring 2019. It will be available on all platforms.

To celebrate, LUNA is hosting a party at 24 Kitchen Street on Tuesday 27th November. Support comes from a stripped back set by surreal pop trio Stealing Sheep, electronic R&B songstress Remée and DJ interludes from ambient storyteller Lupini.

And if that isn’t enough, there will be merchandise, cupcakes and polaroid pictures available so you can take your experience home with you. Limited advanced tickets at £5 are on sale now (click here).
