Positive Vibration Announce Full Line-Up

The Festival of Reggae reveal Dawn Penn, Don Letts, Congo Natty, Jah Wobble and more.

The full line-up has been revealed for Positive Vibration, Liverpool’s award-winning festival of reggae.

Returning to the Baltic Triangle on the 10th and 11th September 2021, the festival has established itself as one of the country’s most exciting and eclectic reggae festivals, playing host to internationally renowned bands, legendary sound systems & selectors, and some of the brightest new talent.

This year’s edition of the festival will feature names such as General Levy, Congo Natty and Gentleman’s Dub Club in what will be one of their biggest years so far. With six different performance areas to choose from, audiences will be spoilt for choice by a wide range of reggae acts around every corner.

The festival will also feature legendary DJ, filmmaker and broadcaster Don Letts, who will be bringing his There and Back Again book tour to this year’s Positive Vibration Festival. There will be a book reading, signing and Q&A hosted by award-winning music journalist and friend of the festival, John Robb.

There will also be a plethora of activities and workshops for the family – including dub poetry, drumming & movement, dance, capoeira, arts & crafts and screen-printing – be hosted by Levi Tafari, Katumba, Capoeira For All, Movema, Square Pegs, The Paper Moon and Curtis Watt. There will also be a special live performance from festival favourites, Staged Kaos.

A successful collaboration between Positive Vibration and the International Reggae Poster Contest, the Art of Reggae exhibition will showcase a series of reggae-inspired posters designed by illustrators & artists from across the globe.

The Jamdown Market will also will also host of traders offering a diverse selection of food, drink, records, clothes, arts & crafts, jewellery, health and well-being.
