Constellations Announce Rubber Dub Collaboration
The Liverpool funk, hip hop and reggae band will perform a residency at the venue with a series of very special guests.
Constellations have announced their new 2019 Live Music Thursdays programme in collaboration with Liverpool “bass connoisseurs”, Rubber Dub.
Incorporating funk, punk, hip-hop, jazz and psychedelia into a reggae and dub foundation, Rubber Dub are one of the most exciting and innovative bands to come out of the North West in the past few years. Such is their popularity, they have already played a number of high-profile events and festivals across the UK and continue to garner a significant fan base nationally.
Every Thursday, the band will perform a set of their own material as well as a number of cover songs, often inviting local MCs, vocalists and musicians to perform with them.
When asked what people can expect from Live Music Thursdays, guitarist Ché Wilson said, “Easy grooves, dance moves, spontaneity, smiles – come get involved, whether you know you’re a musician yet or not!”.
With this in mind, the event is open to performers and musicians who would like to collaborate with the band, showcasing their skills and talent.
The weekly event is free entry and begins tomottow night (24th Oct).
