The scouse rap collective will get a late night slot we’ve been dying to see them in so that at the end of the night we can head home having witnessed something truly exciting, raw and real.
We know what you’re thinking. “But where’s the jazz-pronk?“. Fear not, Unstoppable Sweeties Show will be out in full force to peddle their extraordinary brand of experimental thrash comedy avant-garde punkjazz and blow minds in the process.
Having been entirely taken by an appearance at Queer Rrriot last year we’ve asked Q Folk to round off the bill. Expect a mini-revelation to be delivered full of passion and purity.
With more acts to be revealed plus the debut of the Planet Slop Glorified Jukebox it’s set to be a Forrest Gump style box o’ chocolates as you never do know what you’re gonna get.
Update: Thursday night will now also feature The Tosin Trio, who will provide a bluesy dose of rock & soul. Meanwhile the L100 Cypher will include Jamie Broad, Saint ft Nikki & Iona Fazer, Niggy Raw, Chedeye Knights, That’s Juvey and Valin Goodz.
The following night BBC 6 Music will roll into the venue led by Steve Lamacq for a very special live broadcast featuring Idles before record label Deltasonic take the reigns with Sunstack Jones and more rounding off Friday night.
The weekend ushers in Sticky Fingers for a more rowdy affair featuring Crywank, Wild Fruit Art Collective, Beija Flo and The Wolf Howls When I Scream Your Name.
The honour of closing out the week goes to Studio2 regulars Strings And Things as they enlist Stillhet to showcase some of Liverpool’s most exciting new acts.
It’s set to be a mile-a-minute week of live entertainment across the city, let alone Studio2, and we can’t wait!
