The up and coming artist heads up a night that shows some of the very best of Liverpool’s soulful side.
SUB BLUE is heading to 81 Renshaw at the end of this month.
Having aced an incredible set supporting his friend XamVolo at District in December, SUB BLUE is currently better than he has ever been.
No doubt he will be running through selections from his upcoming debut EP Suburban View. His observational songwriting is truly multi-layered. He examines, he doesn’t judge. This only adds to his affable on stage personality; affable and welcoming.
He will be joined by Raheem Alameen and New Jr.
Alameen is a 21 year old soul singer-songwriter from Liverpool who is also close to dropping his debut EP. He is currently a part of the LIMF Academy Class of 2017-2018, and has received support from BBC Introducing.
New Jr was previously known as Joseph Mott and is a producer and artist who blends hip-hop and electronica seamlessly with a singer-songwriter style. As a producer he is well connected with many of Liverpool’s live artists and is currently creating many tracks for the music scene, while also producing and playing his own tracks.
Undoubtedly this will be a night that will highlight the very best of the young artists tearing up Liverpool’s soulful side, and missing it would be a huge mistake.
SUB BLUE plays 81 Renshaw on Saturday 27th January. Tickets are available now.
