Stephen Lewin goes in search of some interesting shoes to stare at in preparation of Ride’s arrival in Liverpool with new material in tow to boot.

Since their 1990 debut for indie stronghold Creation, they have been the touchstone for guitar bands and electronic acts alike. The Oxonians’ influence can be heard on all manner of artists’ work; from Oasis through to M83 and DIIV.

The tour takes in Liverpool’s O2 Academy on the 12th of November and boasts already much loved East London janglers Ulrika Spacek in support.
