Liverpool music blog The Music Manual is set to celebrate their 5 year anniversary with a special Summer Shindig.
Award shortlisted music blog, The Music Manual will be celebrating its 5th birthday this month with a party at The Buyers Club.
The day long event aims to bring together all that is good about Liverpool’s ever growing music industry and boasting two stages, the Summer Shindig sounds like perfect addition to Liverpool’s bustling Bank Holiday weekend.
Founder and editor of The Music Manual, Lauren Jones said: “I can’t believe the blog is now five years old. I remember wishing I had the balls to launch a blog, but after taking the plunge; The Music Manual is growing stronger than ever.
“It’s time The Music Manual put a stamp back on Merseyside and the wider area, it is crucial for the music scene – now more than ever.”
An acoustic stage will serenade attendees in the sun kissed outdoor courtyard from 12pm on Saturday 26th August with a more livelier set up with full bands kicking off the party upstairs from 6pm.
The line up for Summer Shindig includes Mellowtone artists Nick Ellis and Edgar Jones, The Wicked Whispers frontman Mike Murphy, Merseyrail Sound System winner Astles, Rock n Roll showstoppers Jo Mary, the electronically inclined Mary Miller, singer songwriter Eleanor Nelly and the soulful psychedelia of DUSST.
Joining them are also The Sailmakers, Oh Well Goodbye, Bird And The Family Bryan, Dawn and The Embers, Tori Cross and Pale Rider.
Talking about the event Lauren added: “With new artists and favourite faces, there’s something for everyone at the Summer Shindig.”
