One of Planet Slop’s all time favourite events announces their 2019 line-up with old favourites and a few surprises.

Threshold Festival have announced the first wave of artists for their 2019 edition.

The line-up is the first information out of the blocks by the event production team behind the festival who last month celebrated Arts Council funding success. Expanding again after the more compact Across the Threshold event in 2018, the 2019 event will take place across Baltic venues including: District, 24 Kitchen Street, Brick  Street, Hobo Kiosk, RPM Studios with more to be announced.

The first wave includes the always welcome Threshold mainstays, including Science of the Lamps and Emilio Pinchi, as well as exciting first timers, such as Planet Slop favourites Unstoppable Sweeties Show and Norway’s SKAAR.

But of course, Threshold isn’t just about the music, and there are plenty more artistic adventures to sample.

Meanwhile, Jollyboat – fresh from an outstanding run at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe Festival – and Impropriety represent the comedy scene and the tenacious burlesque star Little Peaches gets risqué.
